ChildLine Gibraltar is a charity modelled on the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) Helpline Service in the United Kingdom. 21FIFTY was approached by the one of the charity’s Helpline Managers in June 2006, just two weeks prior to their live opening. The charity needed a bespoke operating system and data management infrastructure. In the very tight timescales the live date dictated 21FIFTY was able to deliver such a light-weight solution before the live date allowing for UAT. Due to the time constraints and basic requirements provided 21FIFTY designed a CallCentre application and database for the charity in Microsoft Access. The solution was designed as a quick temporary development due to be re-developed in JAVA/VB at a later stage but has served so well 21FIFTY has not been required to further develop it to date.
